Choosing the right club: what to consider.

The best club is not the biggest one that wants you. It is the one where you will play.

Minutes are the only currency that matters at a young age. A season of real football in a smaller league develops a player more than a year of training with stars and watching from the stands.

Look at the coach before the badge. Does he play young players? Does the club have a track record of developing and selling? How did the last three players in your position and age group do there?

Style matters too. An offensive player in a system that never attacks learns little. The league, the way the team plays, and the physical demands should stretch you — not bury you.

Finally: life around football decides more than people admit. Language, housing, distance from family, education. A settled player plays better. We weigh all of it before we recommend anything.
